Way back in 1990,I was then an unbeliever and also a trader by profession. A friend of mine invited me to the House of Prayer Ministry in Kumasi for fellowship. As the meeting was in progress, Prophet Boadi who is also the founder of the above-mentioned ministry called me and prophesied upon my life and said that the hand of the Lord was upon my life and that in the near future I was going to become a man of God. I kept pondering that statement but I did not know when it was going to come to pass. Nevertheless, Mr Joe Owusu Boadi encouraged me to surrender wholeheartedly to the Lord which I did as time elapsed. Precisely on 23rd October 1996, while I was asleep in the night and not very mature in the Lord, I dreamt and heard God telling me that he had called me into his vineyard to be one of his servants. Later I also saw the Lord Jesus seated on His throne and welcoming me to be with him. |

From that time onwards,God opened my eyes to see things in the spiritual realms concerning what was going to happen in the lives of people. Surprisingly whatever utterance I made concerning the lives of a lot of people came to pass. In due course of time, my brother by name Oppong Adjei advised me to go to the Bible School so that I could receive knowledge and insight as regarded the work of God.
Owing to this I started attending the Gospel Light Bible institute in Accra in 1997.Not long after entering the Bible School the Lord laid on my heart to start a prayer fellowship.
Therefore in January 1997,I started the said Prayer fellowship with the following individuals backing me;Bro Martin Obeng Adjei, Bro Kwesi Asiedu,Bro Isaac Oppong Adjei,Bro Kwabena Anokye, Bro Twumasi Ankrah Karikari and Sis Esther of the Ghana Police Service. God being so merciful to me, I was able to complete my bible course on 9th December 1997.After completion as I waited on the Lord concerning what name should be given to the prayer fellowship, God ministered to me and said that He had specifically called me to represent Him and that whatsoever utterance I make would surely come to pass.Besides the Lord said that the fellowship shall be called the Jesus Connection Prayer Centre. In April 1998, the first Executives of the Fellowship were elected to office and they have ever since their election served God out of their best abilities in season and out of season. I thank God for the life of Mr Obeng Adjei for releasing his home to be used as grounds for our prayer meetings till this day. |
